Technical data — log data, IP address, device/browser details and cookies used to operate and secure the service.

3. How we use your information

To provide and improve the learning tools, generate AI content you request, process credits and subscriptions, send transactional and account emails, provide support, and keep the service secure. Your prompts and uploaded content may be processed by third-party AI providers solely to produce the output you request.

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the authentication, AI, infrastructure and payment providers who process it on our behalf under contract, and where required by law.

Where BetterLearn is used in an educational setting, the school or teacher is responsible for obtaining any required consent for students. We process student content solely to provide the service and do not use it for advertising.

We retain data while your account is active and as required by law, applying encryption in transit, access controls and regular backups. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
